As per the UPSC Civil Services timetable, the UPSC IAS Mains Exam 2023 will begin on 15 September 2023 and will conclude on 20 September 2023.

Candidates who have qualified the UPSC Civil Services (Prelims) 2023 Exam will be appearing for the Mains exams.

The Union Public Service Commission will released the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the Civil Services Mains Exam 2023 on 3rd week of June 2023. The UPSC Mains DAF available on the official website of Commission.

The candidates who have qualified in the preliminary exam are now required to appear in the UPSC CSE Mains Examination. More than 14,500 candidates have been shortlisted for the main examination. The qualified candidates are required to submit the online DAF with the scanned documents/certificates with respect to DOB, qualification, category along with required examination fee.

UPSC Mains - 2023 Exam Download Admit Card

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Admit cards of the Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2023 on its official website.

Candidates, who are eligible to appear in the Civil Services (Mains) Examination 2023, can download their E - Admit card from the official website of the Commission upsc.gov.in.

  • The UPSC will conduct the Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2023 from 15 September to 20 September, 2023. After downloading the e-admit card, candidates are advised to check it carefully and bring discrepancy (ies), if any, to the notice of UPSC immediately.
  • Candidates should bring this e-Admit card (print out), along with the (original) Photo Identity Card, whose number is mentioned in the e-Admit Card, in each session to secure admission to Examination Hall.
  • Candidates are advised not to bring any valuables/costly items in the Examination Halls as safe keeping of the same cannot be assured. The Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.

  • Enter the Examination Hall 30 minutes before the scheduled commencement of the Examination in each session. Entry to the Examination Hall closes 10 minutes prior to the scheduled commencement of the examination in each Session.

  • Candidates who do not have clear photographs on the e-admit card will have to bring passport size photograph, one for each session, for appearing in the examination with an Undertaking.
  • Candidates are also advised to bring black ball point pen to the Examination hall for making entries in the attendance list.
