Topper Story - PRADEEP SINGH Background
Clearing India’s one of the toughest exams i.e., the UPSC exam is not easy as
aspirants put hard efforts to achieve their goal of becoming an 1st Class
officer. So, let’s start discussing an inspirational story of Pradeep Singh
who crack UPSC with All India Rank 26. Pradeep Singh, an UPSC aspirant who
became an IAS officer with limited resources as his financial condition was
not good.
Pradeep Singh parents did immense sacrifice and compromise in their life to
get their son dream into reality. Pradeep Singh born in 1996, in Bihar’s
district Gopalganj and after that his family shifted to Indore (Madhya
Pradesh). Pradeep Singh completed his schooling in Indore and after schooling
he pursued a B.Com (Hons.) degree from International Institute of Professional
Studies - [IIPS], Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore college. Pradeep
Singh family background was modest and he belongs to middle-class family. His
Father works at a petrol pump & his mother is a homemaker. His elder
brother works for a private firm and Pradeep singh decided to clear Civil
Service Examination soon after he got graduation degree. Pradeep Singh didn’t
have financial support to send him Delhi to get IAS Coaching classes. So his
father took major decision and sold their house and give this money soo that
Pradeep Singh can preparation for UPSC Exam from Delhi. But this money was not
sufficient as he need more money to keep up with other expenses for studying.
So his father sold their land in their ancestral village. This sacrifice
motivated Pradeep Singh all time and strengthen his resolve to clear UPSC
exam. Pradeep give his best and studied very hard & appeared for the Civil
Services exam 2018. Pradeep Singh cleared his Civil Services Exam 2018 in his
1st attempt & got IRS (Indian Revenue Service) Cadre as per the merit
list. To clear UPSC and Revenue Service cadre not satisfied him as he has
dream to become IAS Officer. So Pradeep again appeared for the Civil Services
Exam 2019 and cleared IAS Exam with an All India Rank 26. When Pradeep Singh
clear UPSC exam 2019 with AIR 26, his was only 23 years old.
The story of UPSC topper Pradeep Singh, who achieved AIR - 26, is certainly
inspiring to all students. Pradeep Singh also wanted to get a private job like
his brother after completing his degree. But Pradeep's family, especially his
father and elder, encouraged him to continue his studies and crack UPSC.
Pradeep's family sent him to Delhi for the preparation of UPSC even though his
family condition was not favorable. In the words of Pradeep Singh, he will
never forget his roots because this gives him strength and confidence. He
recalled his struggle days from childhood to college and then UPSC preparation
when his family staked their house and land for his dream. He wanted to work
for the downtrodden and social justice so that people could be empowered, and
he understood what needs to be done in administration. For Future UPSC
aspirants, Pradeep's message is to work hard for what you want because
clearing UPSC is no cakewalk. Success can't be achieved without struggle and
fight. Students should show their character and attitude; you have to be
patient and think the point should keep in mind that you can do anything.
Everything is possible that human beings can imagine. So not too afraid just
put your effort in the right direction with integrity. If anyone criticizes
you, it means he/she is your well-wisher. Because he is trying to make you
perfect. So take this criticism in a positive way.
Pradeep Singh's optional subject was Sociology. Pradeep Singh spoke that in
Personality Development, you have to be accurate. No need to be manipulative;
you should read your DAF. As he was doing a job in Indian Revenue Services, so
the question was related to his job experience. Some questions related to the
Coronavirus and some questions from Indore city were asked.
