Union Public Service Commission has declared the 2021 final result on 30th May 2022, and Delhi's Shritu Sharma has secured the top position (AIR - 1). Shruti Sharma completed her graduation from St. Stephens College at Delhi University (DU); after graduation, she also completed her post-graduation from Delhi School of Economics at Delhi University (DU)
Shruti Sharma completed her primary schooling at Cambridge school and secondary education at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya in Delhi. This was Shruti's second attempt; in her first attempt, she failed to clear the interview by one mark. Shruti took her main exam in Hindi due to some issues with the medium of instruction.
Shriti Sharma has prepared Civil Services Exam (UPSC) at Jamia Milia Islamia Residential Coaching Academy (RCA). In UPSC - 2021, the merit list top three positions secured by women. Shruti Sharma originally belongs to the Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh and aims to join the UP cadre. She passed the UPSC exam with History as her optional subject. Ankita Agarwal 2nd position from West Bengal and Gamini Singla 3rd position from Chandigarh. It is for the first time in the UPSC history that the top 3 position secured by women.
Shruti Sharma message for UPSC aspirants that UPSC syllabus is very large and exhausting, and a proper strategy is required to clear this exam. As per Shruti, quality, not the number of hours put in, matters, and aspirants should keep their sources limited while studying. Instead of following topper blindly, aspirant should formulate their own strategy like make thier own notes and reading news paper, but aspirants should revise them also. Patience is the key to success in the UPSE exam.She used to focus on regular practice for better presentation and writing answers.

A total of 10,93,984 candidates applied for UPSC - 2021. A total of 9214 candidates passed the prelims exam and qualified for UPSC written (mains) Examination, which was held in January 2022. Out of 9214 candidates, 1824 candidates qualified for the Personality Test of the examination.
