UPSC Cutoff 2021 marks for IAS Prelims for all categories< h2>
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official Cutoff marks of the UPSC Civil Services (IAS) Exam 2021. In the recent notification issued by the UPSC, the detail cut-off marks for each category were released. IAS Cutoff 2021 will be an guiding force for the IAS preparation 2022. There were 10,93,984 candidates who applied in the IAS Exam 2020. Out of those only 685 were finally recommended by UPSC in the recently announced final result of Civil Services (IAS) Exam 2021.< p>< p>

< table> < div>UPSC Cut Off Facts< h2>The following points should dispel any concerns about how the UPSC Cut Off is calculated:< div> - The UPSC prelim cut-off marks are determined solely by General Studies I. The General Studies II or CSAT paper is just for qualifying purposes and is not counted for merit ranking. To be eligible for the mains, candidates must score at least 33% on the GS II paper. - The UPSC cut-off marks are the scores of the last candidate chosen depending on the number of vacancies in a given category.< li>< li>
- The UPSC announces the cut-off marks for both the Preliminary and Mains examinations only after the final result of the Civil Services Exam for that year is announced.< li>< li>
- The UPSC has clarified a few points about the selection of applicants based on cut off:< li>
- Case 1 - If two candidates earn equal aggregate marks in the Civil Services Examination, the Commission breaks the tie by granting a higher rank to the applicant who receives more marks in both mandatory papers and the IAS Interview.< li>< li>
- Case 2 - If two applicants score the same in both obligatory papers and UPSC personality exams, the candidate who is older will be given a higher rank.< li>< li>
- Case 3 - If two candidates score equally in both obligatory papers and the UPSC CSE Interview, and are also the same age, the applicant who scored higher in solely compulsory papers will be assigned a higher rank.< li>< ul>< ol>< div>
UPSC Cutoff For Civil Services 2020 - Prelims and Mains< b>< div>UPSC announced the Civil Service exam 2020 result on 24 September 2021. Shubham Kumar hailed from Bihar and Topped the Civil Service exam. Mr Shubham completed his graduation from IIT Bombay in Civil Engineering. Jagruti Awasthi (Girls Topper) from Bhopal secured 2nd rank, and she completed her Bachelor of (Technology) Engineering from MANIT (Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology).< div>< table>
